Diverflow AK 116 VB103 1x950L - Defoaming additive for caustic tank cleaning

Diverflow AK 116 is a defoaming, alkaline liquid detergent additive to caustic for use in the CIP cleaning of tanks and vessels primarily in the brewing industry. Diverflow AK 116 is hard water tolerant and in combination with caustic has excellent detergency for the removal of organic soiling, especially in brewery CIP applications.

Diverflow AK 116 is a defoaming, highly concentrated liquid additive to caustic that enhances detergency during CIP applications. Diverflow AK 116 is suitable for automatic dosing when linked and dosed proportionally to caustic. Diverflow AK 116 inhibits scale built up because of the content of highly effective sequestrants/complexing agents. In addition a sedimentation of stripped solids is prevented because of the good dispersing properties of Diverflow AK 116.

Contains sequestrants/complexing agents - EDTA-/NTA-free. Improves the cleaning efficiency of sodium hydroxide. Defoaming and suitable for CIP applications under conditions of high pressure and turbulence. Good dispersing properties.

Typical use concentrations for Diverflow AK 116 are 0.1-0.6% w/w (0.09-0.54% v/v) at temperatures ranging from ambient to 80°C, depending on the application, soiling and water hardness. Diverflow AK 116 should always be added to dilute caustic solutions in the CIP recovery tank. It cannot be added to concentrated caustic liquor directly. Solutions containing Diverflow AK 116 should be thoroughly rinsed after use to remove them from all food and beverage contact surfaces.
