Copper Plus is a low foaming, inhibited alkaline liquid detergent additive to caustic for use in the CIP cleaning of copper vessels primarily in the brewing industry. Copper Plus can also be used for copper cleaning in other food & beverage applications. Copper Plus is hard water tolerant and in combination with caustic has excellent detergency for the removal of organic and inorganic soiling, especially in brewhouse CIP applications. Copper Plus can be used at low temperatures for brewing cellar CIP applications.

Copper Plus is a low foaming, highly concentrated liquid additive to caustic that enhances detergency during CIP applications and is especially effective against heat treated organic and inorganic soils.Copper Plus can be used in all CIP applications where copper inhibition is required.Copper Plus is low foaming and suitable for use in CIP applications under conditions of high pressure and turbulence.Copper Plus is suitable for automatic dosing when linked and dosed proportionally to caustic.

Corrosion protection ensures that the brewhouse copper vessels are not attacked and damaged by caustic, thus prolonging the life of the plant.In combination with caustic, Copper Plus is highly effective in removing organic and inorganic scale deposits improving operational efficiency and increasing the number of brews between cleans.Suitable for automatic dosing and control by proportionally linking the additive pump to the caustic delivery pump, ensuring consistent delivery of product.

Typical use concentrations for Copper Plus are 0.33-0.55% w/w (0.29-0.47% v/v) at temperatures ranging from ambient to 80°C, depending on the application, soiling and water hardness. Copper Plus should always be added to dilute caustic (0.3-2% w/w) solutions in the CIP recovery tank. It cannot be added to concentrated caustic liquor directly. Cooper Plus can be used for degreasing of new bottle washers at a use conc between 0,1 and 0,5% w/w in combination with diluted caustic soda (2,5% w/w).
